Join Dave as he takes you on a fascinating journey through one of the most complex and controversial conflicts of the modern era. This course explores the relationship between Arabs and Jews in Palestine from 1917 to 1972 and examines the historical events that shaped the modern Middle East.

Through a study of key political, social and military developments, we will consider the competing claims to Palestine and the factors that led to the creation of the State of Israel and the continuing conflict in the region.
