War art has played a significant role in capturing the profound human experiences of conflict, particularly during the First and Second World Wars.

Artists sought to depict the realities of war, from the horrors faced by soldiers to the impact on, often as a means of commentary or protest.

Beyond these pivotal conflicts, war art can also found in various contexts throughout history, reflecting societal struggles, resilience, and the quest for peace.

Through these artworks, we gain insight into the emotional and psychological effects of warfare, serving as a reminder of the sacrifices made and the need for understanding.
